Sunrise at Nobska Lighthouse
Last weekend, I woke at 3:50am determined to witness the sunrise at Nobska Lighthouse on Cape Cod. Despite cloudy conditions, I captured the lighthouse in dramatic light before the sun broke through with soft hues of blue and gold. The morning transformed as sunlight bathed the landscape, highlighting the lighthouse’s enduring beauty. After the sunrise,…

Minot Beach at Sunrise

Sunset casts a warm glow over Driftway Conservation Park in Scituate, MA. In the 1930s, Boston Sand and Gravel owned the property and mined it for projects like constructing Logan International Airport. You can see remnants of an old wharf reflecting on the tidal river, which once helped transport sand via barge to Boston.
Portland Head Light In The Winter
My recent trip to Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, during winter unveiled a new enchantment. Although I had visited before, venturing here on one of the coldest days of the year proved to be an adventure well worth the chill, adding a layer of magic to this iconic lighthouse experience.
Portland Breakwater Light
The Portland Breakwater Light (also called Bug Light) is a small lighthouse located in South Portland, Maine. My wife and I decided to make the trip on one of the coldest days of the week and being near the water with such frigid temperatures wasn’t necessarily the best idea. We enjoyed a brief moment outdoors,…
