The Doctor’s House

The Doctor’s House sits on a small island named Black Rock off Cohasset, Massachusetts. Its red shutters stand out against the rugged coastline, and it has become a familiar sight to boaters and beachgoers alike. According to local legend, the island became known as Doctor’s Island because of its original owner, Horace Cook. He often hosted doctor friends who came to enjoy the fresh salt air and good company.
