Sunset at Driftway Conservation Park in Scituate. What looks like a peaceful tidal river has an interesting past — in the 1930s, Boston Sand and Gravel mined the property and used the wharf to barge sand to Boston for projects including Logan International Airport. The old wharf pilings are still there at low tide.
