Sunrise at Castle Island in South Boston, Massachusetts. Under bitterly cold conditions, I did my best to capture the old pier pilings from the James F. Dahill Harborview area, the Donald McKay obelisk, the Lt. John J. McCorkle Fishing Pier, and the Conley Container Terminal.
Despite the frigid wind and numbing cold, every moment of discomfort was worth it. As the sun began to rise over Castle Island, the sky came alive with spectacular colors—vivid streaks of orange, pink, and gold reflecting off the water. Witnessing such a magnificent display was a powerful reminder of the magic each sunrise holds, making every effort and challenge along the way truly worthwhile.
