As my San Francisco series comes to a close, it feels fitting to end with the Golden Gate Bridge. Photographing and walking this iconic structure had long been a dream of mine, and finally experiencing both was unforgettable.
My wife and I began the day at the Visitor Center, taking in its history and sweeping views of the bridge. Crossing the span on foot revealed its immense scale and the panoramic sweep of the bay, made all the more alive by the rhythm of cars, cyclists, and fellow pedestrians.
I captured the bridge from many angles—from the Visitor Center to North Vista Point, and even atop Battery Spencer. Each vantage offered a unique perspective on the bridge and the city beyond, highlighting its strength, grace, and presence.
Our last stop was Baker Beach, where we watched the bridge in the evening light. Seeing it from so many spots in one day made me realize how it can feel both instantly recognizable and endlessly worth looking at.
