Blurred Tides at Ocean Bluff

Soft blues and pinks fill the sky in this long exposure from Ocean Bluff–Brant Rock in Marshfield, Massachusetts, where the sea blurs around a steady jetty, creating a dreamy, almost painterly effect.

Blurred tides at Ocean Bluff created by a long exposure in Marshfield, Massachusetts. The sun set behind me, casting soft hues across the sky. Since it wasn’t completely dark, I could use a slower shutter speed to blur the waves as the tide receded. This moment was the perfect opportunity to use my Lee Little Stopper for a beautiful blurred effect.

And no, this filter isn’t named after me! Lee Filters, founded in the 1960s, is known for its high-quality optical filters that photographers and cinematographers widely use to control light and exposure.
