During my stay in San Francisco, I made the most of my hotel’s closeness to the Bay Bridge, which ended up framing some of my favorite moments. At night, the bridge glowed against the darkening sky, its lights shimmering on the water and pulling us back evening after evening. My wife and I would stroll the waterfront, and I always brought my camera to catch the bridge as dusk slipped into night.
Each long exposure revealed new shifts in light and water, subtle changes that made those quiet nights by the bridge some of my most treasured memories.
Part of a San Francisco photo series — next up, Golden Gate Bridge.
