The Mt. Washington Cog Railway, established in 1869, is the world’s first cog railway. It offers a unique experience of ascending Mount Washington, the highest peak in the Northeastern U.S. The railway climbs 3,480 feet over a 3-mile route and provides breathtaking views of the landscape.
