After a solo sunrise stop at Lover’s Knoll in Sedona, I was getting ready to pack up my gear when a group of hot air balloons appeared in the distance. The red rocks were still in that cool early light, and luckily I had the Z 100–400mm with me to capture a few quick frames.
After taking a few photos, I jumped in the car to see if I could get closer. I eventually stopped at the Cultural Park Trailhead, which offered a wide view with Sedona’s red rocks providing the perfect backdrop.
