A heavy rainstorm had just moved out of Southern New England, leaving behind dense ground fog over the marsh. As the sun rose, the clearing light poured through the mist, lighting up the intense fall foliage and creating a brief, striking atmosphere near High Voltage Paintball in Holbrook, Massachusetts.
I was already out with my camera and stopped to capture the power lines cutting through the fog and color — a moment of geometry and light too good to miss.
